Event Management Experience

These projects show that no matter how large or small an event the level of professionalism required in pre-planning, on-site event execution and post-event follow-up are all required to help ensure a successful event. Event management is sometimes overlooked by corporate management but many times these projects can have an over-sized impact on a company’s reputation and bottom line. We have worked with many event planning teams and with management to help ensure that all aspects of the event from budgeting to branding to advertising to attendee communications to exhibitor and sponsor relations to on-site set up to post-event ROI review are made part of one overall event management strategy.

Event Management Highlights

For a B2C Direct Marketer

For Melaleuca Inc. we directed the Memorial Day celebrations in conjunction with the City of St. Paul. Coordination included building working relationships with the Fire Marshal and fire department, the police department, the Coast Guard, and various city agencies. The event included a 5K Fun Run with corporate underwriters, a live concert featuring the Rock & Roll HoF group America, capped off by a 30 minute fireworks spectacular with choreographed music live simulcast by a Clear Channel radio station. The events drew 200,000 attendees along the banks of the Mississippi River.

For a National Management Consultancy

For A.T. Kearney we conceived and directed two major art exhibitions that involved the display of art in the firm’s own San Francisco offices. The installations included program curating with the Executive Directors of the Asian Art Museum of San Francisco and the San Francisco Art Association, as well as the creation of professional grade program catalogs and exhibit guides, on-site entertainment and catering. Each event drew hundreds of corporate clients and influencers over several weeks of receptions and programming.

For a National Accounting, Tax and Advisory firm

We directed the marketing for a signature conference designed for family offices and high net worth individuals held each year for a decade at iconic New York City locales including the United Nations, the Intrepid Sea Space Museum, and the New-York Historical Society. The conference draws more than 300 attendees and includes a half day educational program with multiple tracks and keynote; and calls for highly targeted and confidential communications with family office members and executives.
